Description
The Molloy College/CAP21 BFA Program requires each applicant to prepare two contrasting 32-bar cuts of a song and a one-minute monologue from a published play or screenplay (no Shakespeare). Please have a second, contrasting monologue ready as well. An accompanist WILL be provided. Please bring sheet music in the correct key with all cuts clearly marked.
Please bring a headshot and resume, cut to size and stapled together. You will be auditioning for Henry Fonte (Department Chair/Director), James Bulleri (Associate Director) and Rebecca Overton (Theatre Arts Recruitment Coordinator).
- 50 Broadway is easily accessible by the 4/5 train to the Bowling Green or Wall Street stop, the 2/3 to Wall Street, the N/R/W and 1 train to the Rector Street stops, the A/C to Fulton Street or the E to Chambers Street. Most of these stops are within a three block radius of 50 Broadway.
- Please bring a photo ID for entry. **If you have not already done so, please email Rebecca Overton at roverton@molloy.edu to let her know the name(s) of the person(s) who will be accompanying you at your audition. Due to strict building regulations, security MUST be provided with an accurate list of all persons entering the building prior to the event, or they will not be allowed to enter.
